BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The No. 13th-ranked University men's golf team wrapped up the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship placing 16th by carding a 20-over-par 1,172.
After making the cut, BU fired a 290 in round three putting them in a tie for 10th heading into the final day. The Royals shot a 13-over-par 301 on the final day.
In 30 rounds of golf, BU's 293.1 scoring average is a single-season record while the six-event wins are also a program-best.
Conor Schubring finished the year with a 72.0 scoring average which is a single-season record.
David Morton behind him at 73.2 is the second lowest in a single season.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Conor Schubring was BU's top finisher carding a 288 to tie for 24th. An eagle on the par-five 13 on Thursday in round three helped him card a one-over-par 73. In the final round on Friday, a strong start of birding five of the first six holes led him to shoot an even-par 72.

Will Karkoc notched a top 30 finish tying for 30th with a 289. He shot a one-over-par 73 in both of the final two rounds. Karkoc also carded an eagle on the final day doing so on the par-five 5th hole that played 530 yards.

Ian Stelter and
David Morton each tied for 73rd with 299s while
Jacob Hall finished tied for 82nd with a 303.
