INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
BROOKLYN PARK, MINN.—The Bethel University Royals captured the 2025 MIAC Men's Golf Championship with a three-round score of 891 (+27). The marks Bethel's third MIAC Men's Golf Title after earning the crown in 2023-24, and 2014-15.
Royals junior Jesse Balc won the 2025 MIAC Men's Golf Individual Championship with a three-round tally of 218 (+2). Balc is the second Bethel medalist in program history, joining Tim Brovold's title in 2004-05.
The Royals decreased their score each day. They registered a 301 in round one, a 299 in round two, and a 291 in round three. Balc's final tally of 218 (+2) consisted of marks of 75 in round one, 71 in round two, and a 72 in round three.
Jacob Ferrin, who finished tied for second place, also played a role in Bethel's comeback with a 71 in the third round after he posted scores of 75 in rounds one and two en route to a 221 (+5).
Zeke Roberts just missed the top 10 as his 226 (+10) put him in a tie for 11th place. This included a pair of 74 (+2) performances in the last two rounds. Charlie Solberg finished in a tie for 14th place with a 228 (+12) that included a tournament-best 74 (+2) in the third round. Carson Hannestad rounded out the Royals with a 237 (+21), which put him in a tie for 31st place. The highlight of Hannestad's performance was a 76 (+4) in round one.
The Royals will compete at the Twin Cities Fall Invitational (Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, October 4 - Monday, October 6 at the LeSueur Golf Club.
