ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Bethel University women's soccer team could not keep their winning ways going as they fell to Macalester College 2-0 Saturday afternoon. The Royals were coming off a 1-0 victory over St. Thomas on Tuesday and defeated the Scots last season but were unable to do the same on the Macalester campus. Bethel allowed a single goal in each half and was unable to generate much offense on the day as Macalester outshot Bethel 24-4.
 
Micale Jensen made 10 saves for the Royals. The Scots scored their first goal at the 20:54 mark in the first half and added the second on a penalty kick at 65:33 in the second half.
 
Bethel will return home on Tuesday as they host Coe College in a non-conference tilt scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex.
