ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to UW-Stevens Point in their 2026 home opener at Royal Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The Royals fall to 0-2, while the Pointers improve to 2-0.

Both teams combined for just 15 shots in the contest. Nine of them belonged to the Pointers, who scored the game's lone goal in the 29th minute courtesy of Piper Hanley off an assist from Piper Gunderson, which made the score 1-0.
Three-of-six Bethel shots came from Hannah Kvant.Â
Autumn Maki made three saves in net for the Royals. Ainsley Katte and Jocelyn Blahnik each played 45:00 in net for the Pointers, and didn't record a save.
The Royals will travel to UW-River Falls on Monday, September 7 for a 2 p.m. game.
