RIVER FALLS, WIS.—Hannah Kvant carried the Royals on her shoulders with a hat trick that powered them to a 3-0 road shutout at UW-River Falls on Monday. It marks Bethel's first win of 2026, and the first victory as a Royal for head coach Sheila McGill.

Kvant scored in the 11th, 64th, and 70th minutes to seal the 3-0 victory for Bethel, who outshot the Falcons 14-10. Sydney Ebner assisted on Kvant's second tally in the 64th minute, while Elisabeth Rupp was credited an assist on her third goal in the 70th minute.
Bethel had the 14-10 shots advantage, led by a team-leading six from Kvant.
Abby Wright made three saves in net for Bethel, while Kiera Nelson made four stops between the pipes for the Falcons.
Bethel will hos Bethany Lutheran at Royal Stadium on Saturday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
