NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Bethel University Royals took third place at the 2026 MIAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship, hosted by Carleton College, with a 123 on Saturday. Concordia (Minn.) won the 2026 MIAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship with a 144.
Shalom Sulungaine won the MIAC Women's 600 Meter Dash Title with a 1:34.61. That mark is a facility record, and ranks 10th in NCAA Division III. Madi Pelowski crossed the finish line at 1:37.60 in the 600 meter dash, good enough for sixth place.
Sulungaine and Pelowski teamed up with Hannah Bingham and Ashley Slaybaugh to win the MIAC 4x400 Meter Relay Title with a 3:54.90, a MIAC Championship record. That time ranks 24th in the country.
The 55 meter hurdle prelims resulted in a first-place time of 8.61 from Michaela Zenz. Hannah Bingham was next in fourth place with an 8.59, followed by Ellie Hernes in sixth place with an 8.77. Zenz won the MIAC Women's 55 Meter Hurdle Title with an 8.43. Bingham took sixth place with an 8.69, followed by Hernes in eighth with an 8.73.
Second place was the case for Nora Larsen in the shot put, where she registered a 13.06m. Ellie Hernes kept the second-place trend alive with a school-record 5.46m in the long jump.
Alethia Olson-Skog clocked in a second-place time of 7.19 in the 55 meter dash prelims, followed by a 7.18 in the finals that gave her second place. Ella Paulson was next with a seventh-place time of 7.36 in the 55 meter dash prelims, and a fifth-place mark of 7.39 in the finals.
The Royals will compete at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance Meet on Saturday, March 7.
