DAY TWO RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team sit in third place with 58 points through day two of the MIAC Indoor Championship, hosted by Carleton College, in Northfield, Minnesota on Friday. St. Olaf leads the way with 70 points through day two.
Anna Speratos won the MIAC Women's Weight Throw Title with a school-record 17.45m, which ranks 10th in NCAA Division III. Nora Larsen followed with a fifth-place mark of 15.41m.
Ellie Hernes won the MIAC Women's Triple Jump Title with an 11.45m, which puts her at No. 20 in NCAA Division III.Â
Second place was the case for Shalom Sulungaine in the 400 meter dash, where she crossed the finish line at 55.94. That mark ranks 16th in the country. Madi Pelowski was next in fifth place with a 58.76, followed by Ashley Slaybaugh's eighth-place time of 59.39.
Raina Kaping took fourth place in the pole vault with a 3.33m.
The 4x200 meter relay team of Ashley Slaybaugh, Raina Kaping, Autumn Maki, and Arissa Rydberg took third place with a 1:45.51. The distance medley relay team of Emerson Mullen, Adyson Gerbig, Kiara Gentz, and Anna Hay registered a fifth-place time of 12:46.97.
Day three of the MIAC Championship will take place tomorrow, Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m.
