BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Bethel University men's golf team finished 20th at the 38-team Illinois Wesleyan Invite, the biggest tournament across collegiate golf this season. The Royals carded a 609 (+37) in the 36-hole event this past weekend.
The Royals shot a 315 in the opening round before firing a 294 in round two. The Royals were eighth among the field in par-3 scoring where they were +13 in the event.
Charlie Solberg was Bethel's top finisher tying for 51st with a career-best eight-over-par 151. He shot a 79 in the opening round before matching a career-low 72 (+1) in round two. He finished ninth in the field with 26 pars and was sixth in par three scoring where he shot even for the weekend.

Will Karkoc each finished tied for 8th with a 153 (+10). Ferrin Shot a 77 on day one before shooting 76 on day two. Karkoc shot a 75 on day one before firing a 78 on day two.
