NEW PRAGUE, Minn. – The Bethel University men's golf team placed third at the 15-team Bobby Krig Invite this past weekend. The Royals carded an 886 (+42) in the 36-hole event, shooting 295-292-299.
 
BU ranked second in par-five scoring, where they shot nine under for the weekend. They were fourth in the field with 28 birdies and led the field with 157 pars.
 
Will Karkoc highlighted the group with a fourth-place finish with a seven-over 218. He shot 76 in the opening round before shooting an even 70 in round two thanks to three birdies. He closed out the weekend with a one-over-par 72 on Sunday.
