NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Bethel University women's golf team placed fifth among the 12-team St. Olaf-Carleton Invite which was shortened to one round due to inclement weather on Sunday. The Royals carded a 332 (+44) in the 18-hole event that was contested at Willingers Golf Club in Northfield. Bethel's "B" team placed eighth carding a 350 (+62)

Jill Erickson led the Royals tying for 12th with a nine-over-par 81. Laura Belman was right behind her finishing tied for 15th with an 82. On the Royals' "B" squad, Courtney Herschberger placed 11th matching a career-low 80 (+8) thanks to a pair of birdies on the front nine.
