The Bethel University women's golf team finished eighth at the St. Kate's Fall Invitational, carding a 70-over team score in the 12-team field at Eagle Valley in Woodbury, MN. The Royals held steady across the two-day event in a competitive regional field.
Sophomore Sophie Brantner paced Bethel with back-to-back rounds of 79 (+7), leading the way with consistency to finish as the Royals' top scorer. Her steady play set the tone for the squad throughout the weekend.
The women's team now prepares for the final event of the fall season, the MIAC Championships, on Oct 4-6 at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn.
