LAKE ELMO, Minn. – The Bethel University women's golf sits in third place following two rounds at the 2023 MIAC Championships. The Royals have carded a 647 (+71) through two rounds firing a 320 on Saturday and 327 on Sunday.
St. Kate's sits first with a 619 while Carleton is just four strokes ahead of BU with a 643.
The Royals first tee time at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo is set for 9:20 a.m. on Monday, teeing off every 10 minutes after.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Junior
Greta McArthur sits fourth on the individual leaderboard with an 11-over-par 155 and sits three shots back of the lead. She fired a 77 on day one before carding a 78 in round two. On Sunday she went four-over on the front nine before going two-over on the back nine carding par on her final five holes.
• Freshman
Sophie Brantner is 11th in her first MIAC Championship. On day one she was eight-over through nine holes before recovering nicely on the back nine with a two over to shoot 81 on the day. Sunday she shot 80 going three-over-par on the front nine.
• Junior
Laura Beltman rounds out the top three for BU sitting in a tie for 18th carding an 165 (82-83).
