COON RAPIDS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's golf team notched a third-place finish at the MIAC Championships carding a 943 for the 54-hole event at Bunker Hills Golf Club. The Royals carded a 313 on the final day.
Greta McArthur moved up one spot on the individual leaderboard tying for third with a 227 after carding a one-over-par 74 in the final round.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Royals had the second most birdies in the tournament with 28.
• McArthur started the day with a double bogey but recovered nicely with three birdies on the front nine where she was even at the turn. She carded an eagle on the par-five, 440-yard 15th green before capping out the day with three straight bogeys that put her one-over for the day.

Anna Tollefson nearly missed the top 10 finishing tied for 11th with a 16-over-par 245 for the weekend. She went six-over-par on the front nine before carding a three-over on the back stretch.

Laura Beltman climbed eight spots finishing in a tie for 17th with a 242 after shooting three-over-par 76 on the final day. Three birdies on the front nine and pars the rest of the way helped her go three-under. A handful of bogeys on the back nine forced her six-over-par on the back nine.

That concludes the fall portion of the women's golf season. The Royals are scheduled to return to the links in March traveling out west to Oregon.
