RESULTS

HASTINGS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's golf team competed at the Gustavus Spring Invite at the Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minnesota on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12. 

The Royals finished the two-day event in a tie for fifth place with a 666 (+90).  UW-La Crosse claimed the team title with a two-day score of 320 (+60).

Sophie Brantner finished the leaderboard tied for third place with a two-day score of 154 (+10) after shooting a 77 (+5) on both days. 

Next on the Bethel team score was Christina Scheid, who was tied for 24th place with a 169 (+25). Scheid shot an 89 (+17) in round one, and improved immensely with an 80 (+8) on day two. Also tied for 24th place was Kendall Hoag's 169 (+25) that was broken into an 85 (+13) on day one, and an 84 (+12) on day two.

Josie Brantner was next with a 174 (+30), while Raelynn Pannhoff carded a 180 (+36).

Anna Pitts represented the Royals as an individual, where she finished tied for 21st place with a 168 (+24), while Lily Lundgren, also an individual, was in a tie for 29th place with a 170 (+26). Laura Vernon was also an individual, and finished in a tie for 56th place with a 181 (+37).

The Royals will host the annual Bethel Rumble at the Ridge at Oneka Ridge in Hugo, Minnesota.
