COON RAPIDS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's golf team took off four strokes from its round one score carding a 313 on the second day of the MIAC Championships. The Royals remain in the third with a 630 over the last 36 holes, trailing St. Catherine by 16 strokes. Carleton sits in first with a 604.

Greta McArthur each shot an identical 75 moving them up five spots on the individual leaderboard where they sit in a five-way tie for fourth with a 153.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Tollefson started the day strong with a birdie on the par four first hole. A pair of bogeys on three and eight had her one over at the turn. She carded only the second eagle of the whole tournament putting down a three on the par-five 11th hole that spanned 430 yards. After four bogeys she ended the day with a birdie.
• McArthur rounded out the front nine with a bride putting her at even for the day. A bridie on 14 kept her under par before closing out the day with a bogey and a double bogey.

Rachael Muir is tied for 15th carding an 81 on the day. She birdied two of the final four holes.
