ST. PAUL—
Delia Labatt became the first Bethel woman to break 56 seconds in the 400-meter dash, running a school record of 55.86 to win Saturday's Meet of the Unsaintly at Hamline University.
Labatt's mark shattered the old record of 56.43, and ranks as the top time in the MIAC and the ninth-best mark in DIII.
Annika Halverson ran the MIAC leader in the 1,500 meters, finishing second overall. Her time of 4:36.52 was also a personal best.
Courtney Hlavka set a new personal best to win the javelin throw. Her toss of 120-11 (36.87 meters) is the eighth-best mark in the conference.
Both the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays finished second.

Emily Dahl and Labatt combined to win the shorter of the two races in 49.01.
Erin Alpers,
Nicole Balzer,
Amy Reimer and
Laura Luttio closed the meet by running 4:15.55.
Amanda Passaglia threw 151-11 (46.30m) to finish third in the hammer.
The Royals' next competition is the MIAC championship meet, hosted by Hamline, Friday-Saturday, May 12-13.
