RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, Minn.—
Amanda Passaglia and
Corin McKinstrey recorded wins at Saturday's Carleton Relays. Passaglia won the discus throw with a mark of 118-02 (36.02 meters) and McKinstrey outran the field in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in a time of 1:07.49.
Passaglia added a second-place finish in the hammer throw, finishing with a toss of 148-03 (45.18 meters).
McKinstrey finished third in the 100-meter hurdles in a season best time of 16.10.
Nicole Balzer placed third in the 400-meter dash, crossing the line in 1:01.07, then ran the opening leg of the 4x400-meter relay which also finished third. Balzer combined with
Erin Alpers,
Lydia Herath and
Amy Reimer for a time of 4:10.99.
The Royals head to Iowa for two competitions next weekend, the Kip Janvrin Open at Simpson College Apr. 28 and Drake University's Drake Relays Apr. 28-29.
