MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Following a recent lose to Hamline University early this week, the Bethel Royals took on the Augsburg College Auggies at Si Melby Hall Saturday afternoon and dominated by a final of 72-45. In a game with significant ramifications on the MIAC playoff hunt, the Royals inched on win closing to clinching a playoff berth.

The Royals started off the game a bit slow, but by the end of the first half, they held a commanding 34-19 lead. The game appeared well in hand for Bethel if they could play good ball in the second half.

The second half also played in the Royals favor as they continued to rack of the points and cruise to a 72-45 victory. Scotti Moats (So., Waconia, Minn.) had another phenomenal day with a team-high 27 points. Moats also had 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Shana Grejtak (Sr., Franklin, Minn.) had an impressive game as well. Grejtak collected 14 points in the game and also accounted for 9 rebounds.
