Emily Erickson Named to 2025-26 D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team

ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University women's basketball junior forward Emily Erickson was named to the 2025-26 D3hoops.com Women's All-Region Second Team. Erickson is the 11th player in program history to earn the distinction, and the second Royal in a row after Elly Schmitz was named to the second team in 2025.

Emily Erickson paced the MIAC and ranked among the country's top 25 with 561 points, 144 free throws made, 175 free throw attempts, and 203 field goals made while her .529 field goal percentage (203-of-384) and 18.1 points per game were second in the conference. The Chisago Lakes, Minnesota native also has 5.5 rebounds per game, 33 steals, and 29 blocks on her 2025-26 stat line.

Erickson netted her 1,000th career point in an 87-57 victory over St. Scholastica in the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball Playoff Quarterfinal on February 24, a game that saw her score 25 points. Emily has scored 20+ points in 12 games this season, which included a season-high 31 in an 81-73 win over Millsaps in the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament First Round on March 6. She pulled down a season-high 12 boards in a 72-50 win over Augsburg on February 18. 

Erickson earned a spot on the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team, and pulled down January 26 MIAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

Erickson and the Royals finished 2025-26 with a 24-7 record, which ended with their second NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament Sweet Sixteen appearance in school history.
