About Kelly: Swenson is a graduate from Dawson-Boyd High School in Dawson, Minnesota. She was awarded five letters in basketball and was also in cross-country where she was awarded six and track where she also got six. Kelly was given six-time All-Conference in cross-country and was a four-time state entrant. She also achieved All-State and was a three-time All-Conference athlete in basketball, as well as being a 1000-point scorer, MVP and was a six-time All-Conference athlete in track. She was Salutatorian, All-State Academic, and also participated in band, choir, orchestra, 4-H, Agape Singers, and musicals. Kelly is the daughter of Mike and Julie Swenson and is majoring in Nursing with a minor in Psychology.
