Head Coach for the Royals, Jeremy
Iwaszkowiec stated in the post-game, "I've got to tip my hat to St. Thomas. They are a good squad who were a bit unlucky on the day. However, again, I am proud of the way we came out and played with passion, intensity and effort. Our boys have really grown this fall in their belief in one another and trust in the system.
Leif Sundberg had another fantastic game in goal, saving a penalty kick and numerous other tough shots. Senior captain,
Brady Anderson also helped set the tone defensively with some great organization and some very tough tackles."
"It was a nice way to send the seniors on their way. Leif, Greg, Brady, Nathan, Micah, David, and Zac have been through many ups and downs over their years and I am proud of the way they finished the journey. They are fantastic young men and I am sad that I only got to coach them for one season. They will always have a home here in the Bethel family and I wish them well in all their endeavors."
