ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's soccer team fell to Saint John's University Tuesday afternoon at Ona Orth Athletic Complex.
The Royals kept the match scoreless through the opening 38 minutes before the Johnnies found the back of the net late in the first half, sending Bethel into the break trailing 1-0.
Saint John's gained momentum in the second half, adding five goals over the final 45 minutes to secure the victory.
Bethel finished the afternoon with five shots, including three in the opening half. The Royals earned three corner kicks, matching the Johnnies' total for the match.
Griffin Blokker recorded four saves in goal for the Royals.
With the result, Bethel moves to 3-2 overall on the season.
