SUPERIOR, WIS.—The Bethel University men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision at UW-Superior on Tuesday night.
The Royals fall to 3-5-1, while the Yellowjackets improve to 6-2-1

Superior outshot Bethel 23-8 in the contest. Four of the Yellowjackets' shots resulted in their 4-0 lead courtesy of Seth Davidson in the 17th minute, Jacob Steffes in the 37th minute, Jimmy Jamieson in the 43rd minute, and Harvey McLoughlin in the 59th minute.
Jack Gerber fired the game's final shot for the Royals with 0:34 left in the game. It resulted in his first goal of the season off an assist from Noah Ahlquist, which made the score 4-1.
Superior committed five-of-seven yellow cards called in the contest.
Griffin Blokker made seven saves over 74:15 of work in net for Bethel, before Noah Oscarson stopped two shots over the final 15:45. Henry Ruhland made three saves between the pipes for the Yellowjackets.
The Royals will host UC Santa Cruz at Ona Orth Complex on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m.
