2026 AVCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's volleyball program earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award. This gives the Royals 21-straight, and 23 overall AVCA Team Academic Awards. 

To earn the AVCA Team Academic Award, a squad must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least a 3.3 (4.0 scale). The Royals were among the 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs to meet that benchmark.

The Royals will open their 2026 season in Indianola, Iowa on Tuesday, September 1, when they'll face Central (Iowa) at 4 p.m. and Simpson at 6 p.m.
