ROSEVILLE, MINN.—The Bethel University women's volleyball team wrapped up their three-game swing at the 2026 Northwestern (Minn.) Kathryne Pals Legacy Invitational with a 3-1 (25-23, 14-25, 25-21, 25-18) loss to UW-Platteville on Saturday.
Hannah Penke was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Royals fall to 3-2, while the Pioneers moved to 1-1.

The Pioneers finished the match with the upper hand in digs 71-56, kills 60-41, assists 55-32, service aces 6-4, and attack percentage .223 - .164. The Royals manage to force a combined 30 errors on Platteville, while they committed 19.
Sara Scherber was efficient with a .350 attack percentage that consisted of 10 kills on 20 attacks and three errors. Grace Bathurst and Peyton Howie each had eight kills. Grace Therrien had 20 digs and two aces, while Hannah Penke added 16 digs six kills.Â
Sophia Rubio finished with 16 assists, followed by 13 from Ellie Van Namen.
Bria Johnson had 21 kills and a .288 hitting percentage for the Pioneers, followed by 17 kills and a .270 hitting mark from Brooklyn Radecke.
The Royals will return to action at the UW-River Falls Tournament on Friday, September 11, when they'll face Concordia (Wis.) at 5 p.m.
