RESULTS

ST. CLOUD, MINN.—Championships were aplenty for the Bethel University men's golf team as they claimed the Saint John's Fall Invitational Title with a 586 (291-295, +10) by a three-stroke cushion over the second-place Johnnies' 589 (296-293, +13). The titles continued to roll courtesy of Zeke Roberts's 143 (71-72, -1), which put him in a three-way tie for the Saint John's Invitational Individual Championship with Concordia's Jack Hanson 70-73 and Carleton's 72-71. Round one was held at the St. Cloud Country Club on Saturday, followed by round two at the Monticello Country Club on Sunday.

Freshman phenom Sander Ohe was tied for eighth place with a 146 (73-73, +2), while Jesse Balc was tied for 12th place with a 147 (70-77, +3). Tyler Hoppe's 152 (77-75, +8) put him in a tie for 28th place, while Avery Ross rounded out the Royals' top lineup with a 153 (78-75, +9), good enough for a tie in 35th place.

The Bethel "B" Squad was tied for seventh place with a 605 (306-299, +29). Charlie Solberg was a force to be reckoned with as his 145 (72-73, +1) put him in a tie for fifth place. Carson Hannestad 151 (76-75, +7), Ben Mertz 155 (80-75, +11), Adam Wagner 155 (78-77, +11), and Parker Trobec 159 (83-76, +15) make up the Bethel "B" Team.

The Royals will compete at the Twin Cities Classic, hosted by Gustavus at the Elk River Golf Club, Le Sueur Country Club, and Minnesota Valley Country Club on Saturday, October 3 - Monday, October 5.
