NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Bethel Royals finished 8th out of 14 teams at the St. Olaf Invite on Saturday as they tallied 243 team points. 

Hootie Hage was Bethel's top finisher, taking 28th place in 26:29.5. Thomas Avra worked his way up in the field through the late stages of the race to earn 45th place with a season best time of 27:25.3. TJ Strubbe took 52nd with a time of 28:04.1. Weston Catton took 57th with a time of 28:28.1, and freshman Charlie Gundale rounded out the scoring placing 60th with a time of 28:39.1/ 

The Royals will compete next at the Blugold Open on Friday, October 3rd. UW-Eau Claire will host at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin, which will serve as the same location for the North Region Championship later this fall.
