ROCK ISLAND, ILL.—The Bethel University men's cross country team competed at the Augustana Interregional Invitational at the Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday.

In the Blue 8000 meter race, Hootie Hage took 26th place out of 412 finishers with a 26:31.2 for the Royals.

Next up is TJ Strubbe, who crossed the finish line at 27:48.7 en route to 126th place. Thomas Avra registered a 136th-place time of 27:55.5, while Weston Catton took 181st place with a 28:20.2.

Michael Schultz (28:59.5, career best), Gavin Hansen (29:08.3), Charlie Gundale (30:00.6), Weston Rolf (30:04.2), Evan Dallas (30:21.6), Micah Barberg (30:39.3, career best), Ethan Heeg (31:05.9), Logan Hays (31:52.8), Nolan Wayman (32:52.9), Calvin Snesrud (34:02.0), Easton Zeidler (34:37.2), and Luke Segura (35:24.0) finished for the Royals in the Blue 8000 Meter Race.

Owen Layton (25:40.3) won the Men's Blue 8000 Meter Individual Title.

The Royals will compete in the MIAC Championship at the Highland Park Golf Course in St. Paul on Saturday, November 1.
