SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University men registered a sixth-place score of 175 at the 2025 MIAC Cross Country Championship at the Highland 9 Golf Course in Saint Paul on Saturday. St. Olaf claimed the MIAC Men's Cross Country Team Championship with 33 points, while Mohammed Bati (Augsburg) won the individual crown with a 24:32.7.
Hootie Hage earned a spot on the 2025 MIAC Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team with a seventh-place time of 25:51.7. This is Hage's first career MIAC All-Conference nod after he earned Honorable Mention with a 22nd-place finish in 2024, which helped secure him MIAC Rookie of the Year.
Thomas Avra's 27:22.8 put him in 43rd place followed by Weston Catton's career-best 27:42.7, good enough for 53rd place. Catton is among nine Royal career bests in the meet.
Evan Dallas (27:56.7), Charlie Gundale (28:08.8), Gavin Hansen (28:08.8), TJ Strubbe (28:20.9), Michael Schultz (28:47.5), Ethan Heeg (30:04.9), Weston Rolf (30:15.1), Nolan Wayman (30:22.5), Harrison Dallman (30:57.6), Micah Barberg (31:31.6), Logan Hays (31:49.0), Calvin Snesrud (32:55.3), Luke Segura (33:17.0), and Easton Zeidler (33:17.4) all competed for the Royals.
Bethel will return to action at the NCAA Division III North Regional at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 15.Â
