ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethel Royals finished 5th out of 8 MIAC teams at the Hamline Invite, which served as the MIAC Championship Preview Meet. Bethel scored 121 team points.

Freshman Lucy Upton led the way for Bethel, as she took 12th place (23:23) in her first career 6k race. Senior captains Anna Cargill and Anna Hay took 16th (23:44) and 29th (24:26), respectively. Hay's time was a lifetime best over the 6k distance. Freshmen Brylee Cavanaugh and Emerson Mullen rounded out the scoring with their 30th (24:34) and 34th (24:50) place finishes.

Bethel will compete again next weekend at the St. Olaf Invite on Saturday, September 20th.
