MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Jayson Ekiyor blazed his way to a runner-up finish with a new program record time of 13.83 seconds in the 110H. Ekiyor's time ranks him 3rd in Division III this year, and 8th on the Division III all-time list. David Myres had a season best in the 110H in the prelims with 14.67 seconds, as he finished in 7th place in the finals.

Ekiyor also ran a season best in the 400H of 53.26 to take 2nd place behind Bethel alum, Joel Smith. Ekiyor's time ranks 10th on the Division III honor roll and is the fastest time in the MIAC this year. 

Jacob Parent took 2nd place in the 200m dash, thanks to a terrific start. His time of 20.99 was just 0.10 behind the winner, Paris Olympian Jabez Reeves. Parent's time stands as the MIAC leader and is the 4th fastest in Division III this year. Grant Nelson took 5th in 21.17, which ranks him 9th in Division III. 

Timmy Ball earned 3rd place in the discus with his best throw of 47.27m / 155'1".

Sophomores Caleb Ketterling and Sam Raitz earned personal bests in the 400m dash. Ketterling took 5th in 49.01, while Raitz was 6th in 49.22. 

Cameron McConnell set a season best in the 100m with his time of 10.67 seconds, placing him 6th overall. 

Grant Graber ran a season best in the 5k, taking 8th in 15:14.66.

The Royals will compete later this week at both the Drake Relays on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well as at Macalester on Thursday and Saturday.
