ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University Royals senior defensive back Devin Williams was named October 6 MIAC Football Defensive Player of the Week. Williams is the third Royal this season to earn MIAC Athlete of the Week after Zach Bengtson and Tyler Terry on September 15.

Williams tied for a team-leading 11 tackles (eight solo) that included one TFL, as well as one interception in a 17-10 victory over Saint John's (Minn.) on October 4.

The Fridley, Minnesota native owns 25 tackles (17 solo), two interceptions, and two pass breakups through four games in 2025. Williams was recently named to the 2025 AFCA Good Works Team.

Williams and the No. 7 Royals will make the short trek to Augsburg on Saturday, October 11 at 12 p.m.
