ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Bethel University men's and women's cross country teams opened up the 2024 season on Friday evening at the Toni St. Pierre Invitational hosted by Saint Benedict. The men and women each placed third respectively in the 6-team 5K event.

Grant Graber led the Royals on the men's side with a fifth-place finish crossing the line in a time of 15:36.9.
Hootie Hage was BU's next top finisher placing 16th in his first collegiate race in a time of 15:49.7.

On the women's side,
Josie Harms kicked off her senior year with a sixth-place finish in a 5k-best time of 19:04.
Ruby Gernandt notched a top-10 finish in a time of 19:25.
