How It Happened:
- The scoring kicked off quickly when Dylan Magistad found the back of the net for Bethel just under five minutes into the game, assisted by Will and Ryan Swanda, giving the Royals an early 1-0 lead. However, St. Scholastica responded almost immediately; David Lopez equalized in the 6th minute with a well-placed shot, making it 1-1.
- Bethel continued to apply pressure, with Jack Hanson and Bereketab Bereket both testing St. Scholastica's goalkeeper, Ben Hallberg, who made several crucial saves.
