ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—A pair of Bethel University men's soccer players were named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Men's Division III All-Region Team as senior defender Ryan Swanda earned a spot on the second team, while senior forward Jordan Ross pulled down third team accolades.

The duo were also each named to the 2025 MIAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team.

This marks Swanda's second career All-Region nod after being named to the third team in 2022.

The Edina, Minnesota native played in a team-leading 1655 minutes over 19 starts on the season. He accumulated six goals, one assist, and 13 points on just 10 shots on goal for an efficient .526 shot on goal percentage. Swanda netted a hat trick on six shots in a 4-3 victory over Saint Mary's (Minn.) on September 17, which included the game-winner. He also scored the game-winning goal in a 3-1 decision over Hamline on October 18.

Swanda owns 13 goals, eight assists, 34 points, 50 shots, 27 shots on goal, and six game-winning goals over 72 career games played.

This marks Ross's first career trip to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team.

The Maple Grove, Minnesota native paced the Royals and ranked third among all MIAC players in scoring with 14 goals, six assists, and 67 points. The 14 goals, which also ranked third in the conference, is the most by a Bethel player in a single season since Andy Frye's 16 in 1999.

The most notable game of 2025 for Ross was a 4-2 victory over Carleton on October 25. He finished that contest with three goals, one assist, seven shots, and five shots on goal. This included his team-leading fourth game-winning goal of the season. He also notched two goals that included the game-winner, one assist, five points, and three shots on goal in a 3-1 win over Saint John's on September 20.

Ross was named October 27 MIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Over 54 career games, Ross is tied for fifth in school history in scoring with 21 goals, 13 assists, and 55 points. He also accumulated 174 shots and 79 shots on goal in his career.

The Royals finished the 2025 season with a 10-6-3 record, and qualified for the MIAC Playoffs as the No. 5 seed.
