NORTHFIELD, Minn. – In its first 6k run of the year, the Bethel University women's cross country team placed fifth out of 16 teams at the Running of the Cows hosted by Carleton Saturday morning.
QUOTE FROM COACH
"We had a great showing with a top five finish as a group. Josie being top 15 ran excellent and really stuck her nose in there and wasn't afraid to mix it up with some big runners. We've been training really well as a group and still have some things to learn so that we can make another jump in our placing. On both sides our thought our freshmen really handled themselves well and we got a lot of great leadership from upperclassmen." – Head coach
Kevin Rengo
