BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Bethel Royals earned 12 All-Americans and the men's team finished 7
th at the NCAA Division III Championships. That is the most All-Americans at an indoor championships and the highest team finish in program history.
"We had a very successful national meet and it was great to see our indoor season finish in this way!" said Head Coach
Andrew Rock. "To have 12 All-Americans and perform so well at the highest level of our division was very fulfilling."
Jayson Ekiyor was the runner-up in the 60m hurdles in the tightest race of the Championships. Ekiyor had a tremendous start out of the blocks and ran nose-to-nose with Nebraska Wesleyan's Eli Etherton. Ekiyor finished in a program record time of 7.996, just 0.001 behind the champion Etherton.
Freshman phenom
Landen Liu can add "All-American" to his already impressive resume. Liu took 4
th place in the 60m dash with a time of 6.78 seconds at the start of the day. Liu closed out his indoor campaign with a 6
th place finish in the 200m in a program record time of 21.56 to earn his 2
nd All-American of the meet.
Kelsie Sealock continued to add more accolades to her legacy. Sealock ran the 2
nd fastest time of her career in the 60m hurdles – 8.58 – to take 5
th place overall.

Hailey Gregg, and
Sarah Stellmach raced their way to a program record and 7
th place finish in the 4x400m relay. Sealock led off by splitting 57.83, Turek ran 57.53, Gregg had a lifetime best 58.28, and Stellmach closed in a personal best 56.12 to combine for a time of 3:49.76.
The men's 4x400m relay had fireworks of their own. The team of

Josh Sampson, and
Jacob Parent took 4
th place in a program record time of 3:12.53. That time broke the previous championship record and is the 8
th fastest in Division III history. Smith led off in 48.55, Nelson split a lifetime best 48.09, Sampson ran 48.73, and Parent closed in 47.16.
