Oshkosh, WI - The Royals opened their second day at the UW-Oshkosh MVP Classic with a loss against their hosts. Similar to the events of last night, Bethel fell down 0-2 but managed to win the next two sets to force a fifth. In the decisive fifth set, UW-Oshkosh pulled ahead and handed Bethel their first loss of the Classic. The scores were; 17-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-20, 11-15.

How it Happened

•  Oshkosh set the tone early with an immediate 5-0 run and later had a second 5-0 run to decide the first set

• Set number two was full of lead changes but another late 5-0 run by Oshkosh allowed them to go up 2-0 over Bethel

• Entering the third set it appeared that Oshkosh was starting to pull away until Bethel went on a 7-0 to take back the advantage

• Two kills from Hannah Wilhite bookended Bethel's astounding run

• Bethel gave Oshkosh a taste of their own medicine in the fourth set by tallying a 5-0 run to put them ahead and force a fifth set

• Five ties and two lead changes kept the early parts of the fifth set competitive

• UW-Oshkosh eventually landed a lead that a late Bethel run was unable to catch up with, sealing the victory for the Titans
