Hayden Glander added another Rookie of the Year accolade to her postseason awards list being named the best first-year player in Region 9 by D3hoops.com.
Earlier this month she was named the MIAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year, becoming the first player in program history to earn the honor. She was also named to the All-Conference Team and All-First-Year Team.
Glander is the first rookie since Rachel Parupsky in 2013 to earn the regional honor.
Glander racked up the accolades in her first collegiate season averaging 12.8 points per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field. Her 346 points ranked seventh in the MIAC. Behind the arc she shot 41.8 percent (23-of-55).
A threat in the paint, she had the sixth most blocks in the conference with 27 while bringing down an average 5.3 boards.
She appeared in all 27 games this year starting in 21 of them and averaged 21.3 minutes.
