Women's XC 4th of 30 Teams at Tori Neubauer Invite

RESULTS

WEST SALEM, Wisc. – The Royals placed 4th out of 30 teams at the Tori Neubauer Invite with 186 team points on Saturday. The outcome wasn't a surprise to Head Coach Kevin Rengo. "No doubt our women raced really well today, which is a testament to what they have been doing in practice for the past weeks and months," said Rengo. "We raced with confidence and courage, and I saw tons of teamwork on the course with our pack running."

Mikayla Erlenborn led the Royals with an 8th place finish. Her time of 22:26 is the 8th fastest 6k in program history. Josie Harms improved her personal best time by 57 seconds to take 11th place. Her time of 22:46 ranks as the 12th fastest 6k in program history. Captain Anna Decker also came away with a personal best time of 24:02, which placed her 59th overall. Evie Hage (24:11) and Raina Moorjani (24:18) both had season best times and placed 64th and 69th, respectively.

"Our women were ready for this race and we feel this will propel us into the conference meet in two weeks," says Rengo.

The Royals now move into championship racing. Bethel will compete at the MIAC Championships on Saturday, October 29th at Highland Park Golf Course in St. Paul. You can find all of the meet information at the MIAC Championship website.
