Royals Record Five Personal Bests at Hamline

RESULTS

ST. PAUL—The Royals competed a partial squad at the Hamline Women's Twilight meet Wednesday evening, coming away with several personal best efforts.

Delia Labatt won the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.32, a .18 improvement on her personal best, the second-fastest mark in the MIAC this season. The clocking also makes Labatt the third-fastest performer in Bethel history.

Annika Halverson finished third in the 800-meter run, crossing the line in a time of 2:16.51, taking .09 off her previous best mark. Nicole Balzer and Lydia Herath set personal bests in the two-lap event as well. Balzer ran 2:17.96, finishing fifth and Herath recorded a 2:22.36 to finish 11th. Those times rank Halverson and Balzer second and fifth, respectively, in the conference.

In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Lindsay Johnson set a new personal best of 12:05.65, good for 13th place overall. That time puts Johnson in seventh on the MIAC performance list.
