By the Numbers• 2-1: The Royals went 2-1 in match play against some of the top teams from the WIAC this fall. The main competition season for WIAC schools takes place in the fall and the Royals competed very well despite not always having their complete lineup in victories over UW-Stevens Point and UW-Stout and a loss to UW-Oshkosh.Â
• 6: The key to the Royals victory this fall over UW-Stout, given the absence of Bethel's top three players, was the contribution of six freshmen.
Mattie Kidder,
Madeline Simpson,
Abby Palmquist,
Abigail Anderson,
Rachel Riley and
Hannah Quinn all contributed.
• 3: The Royals closed the 2014 season with three straight victories over Hamline (9-0), Macalester (7-2) and Concordia (9-0).
Â
Did You Know?• Seniors
Abby Kreklau and
Kristin Vivian along with junior
Larissa Voss all took advantage of Bethel's J-term to study abroad during the month of January. Kreklau and Vivian went to Europe while Voss went to Ecuador.
Â
Off the Court• The Royals team Christmas party consisted of both the men's and women's teams volunteering at Feed My Starving Children together.
