ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - What has been an "adventurous spring" has continued to shape the scheduling of all Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchups. Most recently, the weather had an effect on Bethel University's scheduled softball double-header against St. Catherine University.

What was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in St. Paul Wednesday has now been moved to the Rosemount Dome Friday night with the first pitch of the twin bill being scheduled for 8:45 p.m. The postponement is the fourth MIAC double-header for the Royals in the 2013 season that was altered by inclement weather.

Following Friday's late-night series against the Wildcats, Bethel is still scheduled to take on Augsburg College Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. Should any more games be postponed or cancelled, be sure to check the Bethel University athletics Twitter and Facebook pages as well as bethelroyals.com.
