Brittany Griffore
Women's Soccer
Brittany Griffore (So., Maple Grove, Minn.) scored all three goals for Bethel last week, leading the Royals to a pair of conference wins to close out the season. Last Wednesday, the starting forward put Bethel up 1-0 over St. Olaf in the 31st minute. After a goal by the Oles, Griffore scored the game-winner with 35 seconds remaining, giving Bethel its first ever win against St. Olaf in dramatic fashion. On Saturday against St. Catherine, Griffore scored the only goal of the game in the 80th minute for the win. With her three goals, Griffore set new school records for most goals against MIAC competition (6), most total points in a season (35), and helped the Royals earn their most wins in conference play in the 17-year history of the program.

Tim Cornish
Football
Tim Cornish (Sr., Plymouth, Minn.) helped Bethel seal a 33-21 win over Gustavus with an interception he returned 25 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter last Saturday. It was his second interception of the game, and his sixth of the season, which surpasses his total from last year. Cornish also blocked a Gustie field goal attempt, his third of the season, early in the fourth quarter to go along with his four tackles. With his two interceptions, he is now tied for the conference lead. Cornish has 15 career interceptions, and he has returned four of them for touchdowns.
