Bethel Men Defeat Crown College, Improve to 3-0

ST. BONIFACIOUS, Minn. - Defeating the Crown College Storm on Tuesday the Royals improve their season record to 3-0. The men's program is seeing a great amount of improvement under Head Coach Jeremy Iwazskowiec as they start out 2011 with a winning streak that matches their entire season of wins a year ago.

Junior David Kim (Blaine, Minn.) continued to lead the Bethel offense as he contributed two of the four Bethel goals, scoring both of penalty kicks. Josiah Nagel (Jr., Rochester, Minn.) and Martin Manocchio (So., Austin, Minn.) came off the bench to add the Royals other two goals.

The Bethel men out shot the Storm 19-10, with sophomore goal keeper Chris Scott (Cedar, Minn.) accumulating four saves in his 90 minutes of play.

The Royals will play of Friday for the first time in 2011 as they host Simpson College.
