BOX SCORE
NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Bethel Women's Basketball team took down the Carleton Knights for the second time this season Monday evening in Northfield, Minnesota. The Royals squad has been collecting a good amount of wins as of late to improve their MIAC play-off chances. Tonight's game was no exception to that fact.
Despite trailing at the end of the first half of play, the Royals came out strong in the second with a flurry. In the first,
Kelly Swenson (So., Dawson, Minn.) led the way for Bethel with 12 points. While Swenson was playing a solid game, the Royals needed to improve their play if they wanted to come away with a road victory.
The second half was a completely different story as Bethel went on a tear collecting 45 points to Carleton's 28.
Taylor Sheley (Jr., Backus, Minn.) had 16 points in the second, while
Scotti Moats (So., Waconia, Minn.) had 15 to help the Royals prevail.
Sheley finished the game with a team high 24 points with Moats connecting on 18 points and
Kelly Swenson with 13.
Bethel will host St. Olaf College Wednesday evening at the Robertson Center. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
