ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Royals ended their season on a good note by dethroning the Knights in convincing style, 53-38.
Bethel opened the game on a 10-4 run. Scoring easy points in the paint was how they took a 24-19 lead into the locker room. The Royals came out firing once again in the second half scoring 12 unanswered points. The Royals pushed their lead out to 20 with less than four minutes remaining, making 44% of their second half shots .

Shana Grejtak pitched in seven points and a team high 11 rebounds.
Jess Gilpin (Sr., St. Francis, Minn.) also closed out her collegiate career this afternoon, and drained a 3-pointer as well as a jumper for five points.
Annie Eckhoff led the Knights with 10 points.
Defensively, the Royals held the Knights to only 38 points, which is the lowest scoring total for an opponent this season. At 10-12 in MIAC play and 11-14 overall, the Royals ended the 2009-2010 campaign on a strong note by coming out victorious in six of their last 10 games, winning their last two. Carleton finishes at 5-17 in the conference and 5-20 overall.
