BOX SCORE

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Royals put away Hamline tonight in straight sets in what was their second consecutive win of the week. The victory marks the end of the 2010 campaign for the Royals who finish with an overall record of 13-16 and 5-6 in the MIAC.

The Royals honored a group of three graduating seniors before tonight's game. Brianna Falck (), Betsy Naatjes (), and Hannah Parks () played in their last game as Royals and lead the team to a win with their performance. Parks lead the team with 22 digs, while Naatjes led in assists  with 28, and Falck had the second most kills with 11. This group of seniors leaves behind a very solid core of young players that will have opportunities to advance in the coming years.

Other contributing members to tonight's win were upcoming start Caitie Helle (So., Onamia, Minn.) who had 13 kills, Kate Smith (Jr., Arden Hills, Minn.) who had 16 assists, and Valerie Smith (So., Alexandria, Minn.) who had 15 digs.

The Royals lead the MIAC statistically this year in blocks, averaging 2.38 blocks per set. They were also 4th in assists and service aces. With a solid core of returners for next year this group has plenty of promise.

WIth the loss the Pipers of Hamline drop to 10-18 overall and 2-9 in the MIAC.
