Before Bethel: 2006 South Dakota Miss "AA" Volleyball... 2006 South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year... All-State (1st team) selection 2006... All-City (Sioux Falls) selection 2005 and 2006... All Conference selection (2nd team) 2005 and 1st team in 2006... All-Tournament team at the State Tournament 2006... Highest Honorable Mention to Prepvolleyball.com 2006 Academic All America Team... Played club volleyball for Sioux Falls West JO and Club SoDA... Team qualified for USAV JO Nationals in 2006.

At Bethel:  Letter winner in 2007...appeared in 22 games as a back-up setter to All-Conference setter Laura Naig...in best match recorded 25 assists against Illinois Wesleyan.

Coach Hunt says, "Betsy has a great strategic mind for the game of volleyball and she is ready to run our offense.  She is willing to take risks, which helps her improve quickly.  I look forward to seeing her continued improvement as a player and a leader."

About Betsy:  Naatjes graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2007.  During high school she participated and lettered in volleyball.  She also earned awards for South Dakota Gatorade Play of the Year, Miss South Dakota Volleyball, All State, All Conference, All Conference Academic, and Academic All American Highest Honorable Mention.  She is majoring in Psychology.  After she graduates from Bethel, Naatjes is planning on attending Graduate School.
