Brandon Peplinski (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) scored the game winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over St. Thomas with less than two minutes remaining, giving the Royals their first win over the Tommies since 1999. Peplinski has been one of Bethel's scoring leaders in each of his first two seasons, but Saturday marked just his first goal of the season, with the assist going to Andreas Scott. Thanks to Peplinski's efforts, Bethel has more wins than they did all of last season and the Royals have their best record at the midway point of the season since 2004 when they reached the conference playoffs last.
